Would you like to become more proficient in the Dutch language?
Want to discover Holland from a different angle?
Want to learn with and from other NT2 students?
Come to Bogaers Talen on Saturday, September 30 and join the free introductory meeting! This will introduce you to the workshop cycle ‘Vaardiger in [het] Nederland[s]’. A cycle in which you go on research in the Netherlands and into your own talents. Every month you will visit a [culturele] activity, attraction or happening. You incorporate that visit into a presentation. You are largely free in the choice of your visit and the form of your presentation. After your presentation you will receive tips from your fellow students and your teacher. If desired, the teacher will give additional explanation [over taal], to the whole group and/or to individual students. The eight workshops will take place on the last Saturday of the month [not in December, July and August] between 10:00 and 12:00. You pay €70 per meeting. But if you are already registered with Bogaers Talen and you register before or on September 30, you pay € 50 per meeting. Costs for visit and presentation are for your own account. What other conditions are there? 1) Your language level. You must have at least A2 level in all sections. 2) Your attitude. You are curious and enjoy discovering things together with others. 3) Your learning ability. You can reflect. That means that you can give and receive criticism.
The workshop cycle challenges you and is all about fun, self-confidence and ‘playful’ learning. You almost automatically gain knowledge: of Dutch and the Netherlands, of yourself and each other.
Background info

- want to become more proficient and free in the Dutch language,

In other words, the cycle revolves around language, culture and social interaction. After the [gratis] introductory meeting on 30/9, eight meetings of two hours each follow every last Saturday of the month: 28/10, 25/11, 27/1, 24/2, 31/3, 28/4, 26/5 and 30/6. On 30/9 the teacher will show examples of visits and presentations. Naturally, it will also be about the way of working, the “demands” on trainees, their freedom of choice and the room for personal guidance and interpretation. When registering, students commit themselves to participating with the intention of attending all eight times. They pay per meeting. Course participants who already know Bogaers Talen and register before 30/9 will receive a € 20 discount per meeting: not € 70 but € 50. Bogaers Talen will pay the teacher [tweemaal] the usual hourly rate. Should extra supervision of individual course members be necessary, the teacher will consult with Jolanda van der Meijden about extra payment. Between meetings, course participants will visit a [culturele] activity, attraction or event. Six must be chosen from the list, the other two are free, as well as order and exact content.
