Good news! The new Language for Employees incentive scheme allows employers to apply for funding for training their employees who have difficulty reading and writing. Employers can apply for funding from the Stichting Lezen & Schrijven for training programs aimed at improving the Dutch language skills of their employees. Bogaers Taleninstituut BV can offer such a language training program. The incentive scheme is temporary and applications can only be made until February 15, 2016! The following conditions are attached to the incentive scheme:
- The employee has a maximum educational level of MBO-4 or similar; – Employee is approachable in Dutch and is demonstrably limited in his functioning in the performance of his work because his literacy skills are inadequate; – A maximum of €1,800 is available per language course (inc. VAT); – The employer’s own contribution is at least one-third of the actual costs incurred, with a minimum own contribution of €3,600 (inc. VAT); – The course must start in 2015 (after application) and be completed no later than July 1, 2016; – The language provider must be affiliated with NRTO, a ROC or have a teaching qualification for primary education or first- or second-degree secondary education in Dutch, NT2 or foreign languages.
Bogaers Talen is recognized/affiliated with the NRTO for this and may offer such a language course!
